SSL Certificates now important for all websites - February 2017

If your website does not have an SSL Certificate, then it's perhaps time to have one installed. Google has an updated algorithm, which will now place websites with SSL higher in the search rankings. When a site used an SSL certificate, the information becomes encrypted and secure. The website will then be able to use the Https protocol instead of Http.

It seems like a logical decision, and soon all top search results will most likely only display https.
