Should I use an SSL Certifcate September 2017

Google now see's the Https protocol as the standard, meaning an SSL certificate is installed. It now shows sites using SSL as being "SECURE" and ones without (using http) as "NOT SECURE".

Initially the change in the Google ranking signal was launched without much effect, allowing people and business to have time to make the change. Now it has become standard, the chances are users will not enter a site that is displayed as NOT SECURE.
