Website Security -Trend Report 2016

Very interesting web report released by the Sucuri Remediation Group recently, it examines the data collected from over 11,000 websites that have been infected with Malware or malicious code.

In general, the most infected CMS web platform was wordpress, which accounted for over 75% of the infected sites. Top reasons being out of date plugins and dated core scripts. However other common reasons were the web hosting environment, and unskilled users setting up the platform.
